Train Leaves the Station

Tuesday 4th June 2024
Finished the new draft of Lidderman last night. Sent it off to Jason Adam this morning. Met with Danielle and discussed a few things, namely locking the location down- i,e, her house. Got her up to speed on everything else. She’s going to ask the corner shop and cafe over the road from her about us shooting there. She also told me that when I gave her copies of The Electric, Dead Leaves and Society Place the other week, she had a contact that enabled her to send them directly to Stephen King. Holy shit. I’m sure he’ll never read them, but you never know… She’s good that Danielle is.
Jeremy has found a sound designer by the name of Ant Henderson who works for a company called Audio Content Lab. As sound is going to be so important to this film, we wanted to get a designer in as early as possible, and looks like we’ve got one.
James Justice also sent me some more musical ideas and they’re great. Proper unnerving music. He’s gonna be great, I just know it. I always hire cast and crew on instinct and I’ve got to say, I’ve only been wrong in a few cases.
So the train really has left the station on this one now. Let’s ride it and see what happens.
It’s my birthday tomorrow. In a year I’ll be 50.
Time is ridiculous.
